What distinguishes us from the previous centuries is the vast amount of material available and its accessibility (question is that the material can be found and analyzed, even if you do not understand the vocabulary, then the varied dictionaries or short answers from Google/YouTube to you will help). Also, if you conduct research in the field of epidemiology and develop or research various statistics, but you have problems at any stage of your research and think "write my nursing paper for me" in your head, you can ask for help from the relevant services. Thong has been Administrative Assistant to Dr. John Lavis since September 1997. Her responsibilities include general office administration, course administration (for HS 3GG3: Health Systems and Health Policy), and research program support (for the Program in Policy Decision-Making). She started her employment with the McMaster site of INCLEN (International Clinical Epidemiology Network) in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics in September 1981. INCLEN was an initiative funded by the Rockefeller Foundation to build core groups (or critical masses) of individuals in medical schools in the developing world. She was initially the Program Secretary and then the Program Coordinator (until funding ended in 1996). She worked with Professors Stephen Walter and Cathy Charles for a short period of time before working full time with John Lavis. She received the McMaster University President's Staff Award in June 2001.
